On October 3rd I planned a little trip for Colby because he had been working so hard. It was meant to be a suprise but the little butt was checkin up on me and looked at my bank account and saw that I had bought tickets to David Spade. He was coming to Wendover and since Colby is obsessed with gambling I thought that It woudl be fun for us to go. I never really enjoyed going to comedy shows, prob because I don't like uncomfortable silence and I get embarrassed for other people, when they feel stupid I want to crawl in a hole and die! Its weird I know!! But we saw Howie Mandel in Vegas last Valentines day and It was so fun, and hilarious! But David Spade was even better, he was so freakin funny not even kidding I loved it. He did a little bit of Joe Dirt and the famous "House Keeping" from Tommy Boy (so funny)! And it didn't help that the lady next to me laughed at everything and repeated everything that he said to her friends! what a weirdo. The best part had to be that after the show we were already down by $80 playing the stupid slots and somehow Colby turned into like an amazing psychic really... He played roulette and hit the number like a trillion times. Then we played black jack until 2:30 am by then we were up about $500 and I was fallin asleep at the tables so Colby walked me up to our room and asked if I would be mad if he went back down for a while. I thought he was kidding but he was like a kid in a candy store! So Like I could tell him he couldn't go :) I gave him $50 bucks and told him to come back when he lost it expecting him to come back soon! I heard the door open around 5:00am and He was a zombie with a per ma grin on his face! The first thing he said is that he won $300 more! I didn't believe him and then he threw all the money on the bed! over $800!! I was amazed, he said for some reason he just couldn't lose!! Geez I just love trips like that it almost makes up for all the money we usually lose!

I'm so glad I just found your blog! I really don't know how I didn't know you had one (that sentence is confusing)! Well sweet - now we can keep in touch better. You and Colby do the funnest things - everything is like fishing, concerts, and trips...lucky you guys. Austin and I need to spice up our lives. Your house is so beautiful too! That's so fun - Okay well keep in touch. I'll probably be your number one blogging fan now that I know you have one. PS- I love love love all your wedding pictures, especially the header one :)
Oh my I NEVER get lucky like that. How cool!! So funny that he went back down there to play some more. I bet he was tired the next day.
Hey Scurbainqueef... you two remind me of me and Jordan and our gambling problems! I can't take Jordan to anywhere that has a Casino cause he will go nuts and maybe win some money but then end up loosing it all!! Anyways, I didn't know if I am supposed to come back and leave you a memory comment but I thought I would anyways cause we have so many and I like thinking about the good old days. Hmmm lets see.... remember the day our friendship was born? We were sitting in a classroom for cheer and we just started talking. We talked for quite a while and then after that we were inseperable. Remember when you fell on the bar and got a hematoma on ur hot pocket? That was rough. I remember downloading music at ur house and making cds till 3 in the morning. And yes I have to say that one of my favorites is when you screamed the eff word at JD and that hussy Lacy (JD is marrying Lacy's little sister in a month - I don't know if you knew that)in the middle of the movie. OH I just thought of another good one.... when we went to the Freedom Festival parade in Provo and slept on the street to save seats for your family. We were sleeping by some crazy guys thats all I can remember. And I remember something about some crazy guy named Zane or something? He was parked in front of your house... maybe he took us there? I don't know. Anyways, I hope all is well! We need to hang out more for reals. I love you!
