Here's to coming up on 26

I just got this beauty from my supervisor at work, Here is to 3 days off and celebrating my birthday week/weekend! Now I am headed over to see my cute little mephew Cooper before his surgery tomorrow morning! Keep him and all of us in your prayers and thoughts!!

Kade's 1st PET

Dad and Kade getting it all put together... they are so cute!

We took Kade to the pet store last weekend and he was so into it that it made us want to buy him a PET! ha ha, I know that he is only barely 9 months old but what kind of parent would I be if I didn't want to spoil him rotten?! I wanted to get him a puppy but decided to hold off a few more yrs. so we decided to but him a fish tank and some fish. He loved the fish at the pet store and we justified the purchase saying that he could use it as a night light:)

So off we went to find the tank. We got all of the stuff together and then we found a spongebob set to put in the fish tank! Kade loves spongebob and every time the song starts he has to find away to look at the TV. He was sleeping on my shoulder one night and it started...Kade actually woke up watched the introduction to spongebob and layed back down and went to sleep once it was over. He is so stinkin cute and we just love him to pieces!

We had to let the tank sit for 24hrs with the water and everything in it before we could put the fish in... so the next day they were welcomed to their new home... don't worry 3 of them have already died, and of course Colby says that it is because I fed them to much:) but Kade loves it and I have to say that his room is quite peaceful at night!

The Whole Gang!!

Here is Jobi and her cute sis! 2 cute pregos:)

One of my very bestest friends in the whole wide world is having a baby girl in April... Oakley Julie Niu:) We are so excited to meet her! Jobi has always been there for me and although she is already a proud momma of 2 amazingly cute little boys we thought that having a little girl was reason to celebrate!! Me and Hayley and Ashlee (my other 2 lovely friends that I love) threw a great shower for her... Thanks for all your help girlies I couldn't have done it without you!!Jobi... We love you and hope that you had a great time!

CrAwLiNg and TEeTh

Here is our little monster doing the army crawl:) He is so stinkin fast now that you can barely catch him. Notice how the pictures start out very far away and how happy he is, but as he crawls faster and mommy moves back Kade starts to get pretty mad that he can't have the camera:) He is so stinkin funny and I am just loving watchin him conquer these milestones:) He is gonna be walking before I know it!

So Kade has finally got some teeth coming through... He is over 8 months old and we were starting to think that maybe he wasn't gonna get them (wouldn't that be awful)! Plus I actually had a nightmare that he got a full set of really sharp alligator teeth ONLY on the bottom! It was pretty scary:) ha ha! But here they are for the world to see! Kade hates to show em to us but we managed to get a pretty good look... only 2 teefies on the bottom! They are so stinkin cute:) My little baby is gettin SO Big, I am having a love/hate relationship with that idea:)

My VaLenTINeS

It was so fun this year to have 2 Valentines:) Kade and Colby!! Wahoo, I am one lucky girl to have these 2 cute boys in my life!! It was kind of weird but kind of fun to have Valentines Day on a Sunday, We played it low key this year with Kade. I made Colby breakfast in bed.... that's right, he got pink heart shaped pancakes to start the day off! Then we exchanged our gifts... colby got me some beautiful flowers, chocolates and a cute necklace that says LOVE on one charm and XOXO on the other. Plus my favorite part is that he always gets me the best cards and rights the sweetest things inside!! I just love him:) I got him some candy a CD and a gift certificate to get a massage because he is always so sore from working so hard for our family!! It was a much needed gift and I hope he gets to use it this weekend. Kade got some gifts from his grandparents and got to have his first sucker!! He was SHOCKED that we were actually letting him have it and was a little hesitant at first but after a few licks he seemed to really enjoy it! He is so dang cute and I love my little muffin top more than life!!

After Kade went to sleep I made us a nice dinner of crab legs, mashed potatoes and salad, and Valentines cookies!! It was great and hit the spot:) It was nice to relax and stay home and enjoy a nice dinner together:) I am so lucky to have Colby and Kade in my life and I have no idea how I ever got through life without them... they are my world!!

BEFORE AND AFTER

I have been searching for a high chair for Kade for a while and all the ones that I found in the stores I did not like... I finally found one to restore and cover and I think that It turned out pretty cute! Kade loves to sit in it and slap around on the table top:) He thinks he is so cool in it! Colby painted it (of course)! And I love it! Even more than that, I love that it cost 1/3 of what I would have spent on one:)
